1.5 hr class twice per week

Each Unified Mindfulness class includes unique fresh content, a brief introduction to class theme, 2x 15-min guided meditations, noting & sharing our personal meditation experiences, and focus on posture.

Class Times :
Wednesday's - 5:30pm (1.25 hr)
Saturday's - 9:30am (1.5 hr)

What Is Covered

Each Unified Mindfulness class includes instructions on how to practice followed by two guided meditations.

In each mindfulness class practical techniques are shared and we map our sensory experience throughout the session.

We establish an understanding for our actions, observe them during a guided meditation, and then mindfully reflect on how we view those actions post-meditation.

These mindfulness sessions are interactive and inquiry-based and support visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learners.

A class generally includes :

  • Introduction to class theme – the connection between theme and meditation.
  • Guided Meditation (15min) – on 3 core skills of sensory clarity, concentration power & equanimity.
  • Guided Meditation (15min) – focusing on class theme.
  • Noting & Sharing – our meditation experiences.
  • Focus on posture – practice connection with meditation.

Potential Outcomes

Through regular and consistent practice of the Unified Mindfulness approach, we may experience an untangling of our sensory perceptions whilst living.

This can lead to greater :

  • Sensory clarity – the ability to track and explore our senses in real time making joyful experiences more vivid and difficult experiences less overwhelming.
  • Concentration Power – the ability to focus on what we choose at any time we choose (selective attention).
  • Equanimity – the ability to allow our sensory experience to come and go, without push and pull leading to increased joy and less overwhelm and ongoing maturing of our spiritual nature.
  • Tranquillity – caused by a reduction in compulsive behaviours associated with lack of concentration, lack of sensory clarity and lack of equanimity in daily life.
  • Resilience – due to increased equanimity in facing the ups and downs of living.

Bernadette Lenzo’s personal practice and teaching is based on the Unified Mindfulness system developed by Shinzen Young.

Through daily practice, study and coaching in the system of Unified Mindfulness, Bernadette has noticed accelerated benefits for her health and wellbeing.

Unified Mindfulness Class Details

Location : Mindfulness Meditation Hub, First Floor, 443 Vincent St West, West Leederville (Google Map)

Booking :No booking required, simply turn up and join a class.
Contact us if you have questions or if you prefer to let us know that you will be attending a mindfulness class.
What to bring :Yourself, friends, family, partners, work colleagues – all are welcome!
Comfortable clothing is recommended to assist you in relaxing.
Mats, cushions & blankets are provided. You are also welcome to bring your own meditation props should you prefer.
Chairs & stools are available for those unable to sit on the floor.
