An afternoon & evening of mindfulness including practice whilst standing, walking, sitting, laying and moving. We will share a meal together and finish the evening with a Dharma Talk.
Suited to all levels of experience, from beginners to those with an established practice.

Under the loving guidance of Brother Chân Pháp Khê from Plum Village, you will be guided through an afternoon and evening of Mindfulness.

Session Schedule

(Subject to minor modifications)

1:00 AFTERNOON SESSION STARTS
Arrival / Welcome / Housekeeping
1:20 – Activity Bell (10 sounds)
1:30 – 4 postures (Standing / Walking / Sitting / Lying down) in Mindfulness, then lying down body scan
2:30 – Short break
2:40 – Chanting together for 20 minutes Namo Valokhiteshvara, Bodhisattva of Great Compassion
3:00 – Sitting practice
3:45 – Break and gather food (please bring a vegetarian or vegan plate to share)
4:00 – 5 contemplations reading, then Afternoon Tea in noble silence.
4:30 – Joyful service, everyone can help

Brother Chân Pháp Khê is a Zen Buddhist Monk from Reunion Island. He practices in the Vietnamese Tradition of Mahayana Buddhism. With an experience of 11 years of practice among Centres of The Venerable Thích Nhất Hạnh and under his guidance.

Brother Chân Pháp Khê helped in sharing and facilitating Dharma Groups in Plum Village (France). Additionally in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Nederlands, Italy, countries in South Asia & North America. He lived 4.5 years at Deer Park Monastery in Southern California.

After 9 months in Reunion Island, he continued his Spiritual Path in Buddhist Monasteries and other Temples from different traditions for more than a year, especially in Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Vietnam and now Australia.

Meditation cushions & chairs are provided. You are also welcome to bring your own meditation props should you prefer.
