Mindfulness Meditation Hub is a community of individuals who come together to support each other with their Mindfulness & Meditation practice.
The hub is fully run by volunteers who facilitate sessions and handle the daily managing and running of the hub.
Would you like to volunteer some of your time or skills to help us better do what we do.
The following are a list of volunteer roles currently available :
We have a large community of meditators and mindfulness practitioners whom have attended our courses and sessions since opening in September 2016.
We are looking for an individual to coordinate and connect the community in a variety of different ways.
A sample of tasks include :
You might choose to handle all of these tasks yourself or delegate some tasks to other volunteers.
An estimate of time would be 4 hrs to 8hrs per week, depending on your desired level of engagement in performing this role.
If you feel confident in only performing one or two of these tasks then still let us know as the role could be performed by multiple individuals.
Facilitators to run Sessions, Classes or Courses
Would you like to :
Either you have some experience, or you would like us to mentor you in starting up a session/class/course to offer at our Hub.

Positions Already Filled
The Sangha would meet at the hub on a weekly basis to practice mindfully together and share/support each other with our practice in this tradition.
If you have any experience or knowledge in this tradition or Thich Nhat Hanh’s work, maybe you attended one of his retreats, read one of his books, watched his videos, listened to his dharma talks or have been practicing his Zen Buddhist meditation and mindfulness practice.
Even if you have no experience all that is required is a solid interest, commitment & intent to facilitate the session and learn/evolve your practice in this tradition collectively as a group with others.
One key feature of a Plum Village Sangha is that no one person is seen as greater than or lesser than any other in skill, knowledge or experience, as it is the collective wisdom of each individual that supports and carries the Sangha and it’s members.
We have all material and detailed information on how to run the Sangha sessions in this tradition.
The practice is simple, straightforward and can be learnt session by session as a group.

Tasks would include vacuuming floor, cleaning cushions, dusting, washing windows, watering plants, folding blankets and so on.
About 30min to 60min of cleaning is required each week.
Depending on the number of people interested in this volunteer role, this could be on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly frequency.
