Plum Village Tradition
The Plum Village tradition is a form of Mindfulness & Buddhism that is practiced in the Plum Village international retreat centre located near Bordeaux in southwest France, founded by Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay).
Plum Village is where Thay has realised his dream of building a Beloved Community: creating a healthy, nourishing environment where people can learn the art of living in harmony with one another and with the Earth.
Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay)
Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh (also known as Thay) is a global spiritual leader, poet and peace activist, revered throughout the world for his powerful teachings and bestselling writings on mindfulness and peace.
His key teaching is that through mindfulness we can learn to live happily in the present moment—the only way to truly develop peace, both in one’s self and in the world.
What is Sangha?
A sangha is a community of mindfulness practitioners who practice together and support eachother through their combined practice.

Who is the Plum Village Sangha suited to?
The Plum Village Sangha which meets at Mindfulness Meditation Hub is open to all.
You may be spiritual/non-spiritual, Buddhist/non-Buddhist, male/female, young/old, and so on.
The purpose of the Sangha is to create an environment within which we can practice and support eachother in a peaceful, loving, kind and compassionate way.

This Plum Village Sangha session is an opportunity for us to come together as a community of mindfulness practitioners who practice mindfully together in the Plum Village tradition by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
